This is a template, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a Nigerian lawyer before
launch — in particular, confirm whether the way your wallet actually holds and moves
customer funds requires any additional regulatory registration.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using FastData's website, app, or services, you agree to be
bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding
contract under Nigerian law to create a FastData account.
3. Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.
- You must provide accurate information at signup and keep it up to date.
- Notify us immediately at hello@fastdata.example if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Wallet and funding
- Your FastData wallet balance can be funded via card or bank transfer, processed by Paystack.
- Wallet funds are intended solely for purchasing services on the FastData platform (airtime, data, electricity, and cable payments).
- We reserve the right to hold, delay, or decline a funding or withdrawal request where we reasonably suspect fraud, money laundering, or a violation of these terms.
5. Services and pricing
- Airtime, data, electricity, and cable purchases are fulfilled through third-party providers (currently VTpass) and are subject to those providers' and the underlying networks'/discos' availability.
- Prices displayed are current at the time of purchase and may change without prior notice.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by the underlying telecom network, disco, or cable provider once a transaction has been correctly submitted to them.
6. Failed transactions and refunds
- If a purchase fails or cannot be delivered, the amount debited is automatically reversed to your wallet.
- Successfully delivered airtime, data, electricity tokens, and cable subscriptions are final and non-refundable, in line with standard telecom and utility billing practice.
- If you believe a transaction was charged incorrectly, contact support within 7 days with your transaction reference.
7. Prohibited use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any fraudulent, illegal, or money-laundering purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated tools to abuse pricing, rate limits, or promotional offers
- Resell FastData's services at scale without a separate agent/reseller agreement with us
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
8. Agent and reseller accounts
Bulk/agent pricing and API access are offered under separate terms agreed with qualifying
users. Standard consumer terms in this document still apply alongside any agent agreement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, FastData is not liable for indirect,
incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including losses
caused by third-party network, payment processor, or provider outages outside our control.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Account suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account for violation of these terms, suspected fraud, or as
required by law. You may close your account at any time by contacting support; any remaining
wallet balance will be handled per our standard withdrawal process.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of FastData after a change takes
effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will
be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
